Lisa felt so proud to have her friends meet her parents and her children to be able to spend time with their grandparents. Ended with a trip of a lifetime to Australia.

Lisa’s Parents
Phase 1 — Getting there
Outbound — Syracuse to Hong Kong
KTP picked up both parents at their home in Syracuse and managed the full journey: drive to SYR, the first flight to JFK, the international connection, customs documentation, and the 16-hour flight to Hong Kong. Helped them navigate Hong Kong arrivals and immigration and delivered them directly to Lisa’s door.
Lisa was waiting at the door when they arrived. Her family ready to greet her parents.
Phase 2 — The visit
Hong Kong — Meeting the grandchildren
Two weeks with Lisa, her husband, and the grandchildren. The life she'd built. Her neighborhood, her home, her people — finally visible to her parents in person. KTP was not present. This time was theirs entirely.
Eight years of video calls, finally in the same room.
Australia — Family vacation
The whole family traveled together to Melbourne for a joint vacation — parents, daughter, grandchildren. Lisa managed travel within the trip. KTP's role picked back up at the end, stateside.
The trip she'd been imagining for eight years, finally happening.
Phase 3 — Getting home
Return — Melbourne to Los Angeles
The parents flew from Melbourne back to the US, landing at LAX after a 15-hour flight. Exhausted, jet-lagged, and still with a connection to Syracuse ahead of them.
This is the moment most families get wrong — the last leg, when everyone is worn out.
LAX — KTP stateside handoff
KTP met the parents at LAX arrivals, handled the domestic connection, and managed the final leg to Syracuse. Then drove them directly from the airport to their front door.
Lisa didn't have to worry about the last 3,000 miles. Neither did they.
What KTP made possible
The logistics of an international trip at 74 and 71 — passports, connections, customs, jet lag, a 16-hour flight, “re-entry” — are genuinely hard. Not impossible, but hard enough that they'd said no for eight years. KTP handled the hard part both ways, so the parents could say yes. Lisa finally got to show her parents her life. The grandchildren finally spent some quality time with their grandparents. And when it was all over, two tired, happy people were delivered safely to their front door in Syracuse, without a single layover they had to navigate alone.
Memories were created that Lisa never thought were possible.
